Air Fryer Beets
The air fryer cuts beet cooking time nearly in half compared to oven roasting, and the results are excellent — sweet, slightly caramelized, with good texture throughout. No foil tent, easy cleanup.

Section titled “Ingredients”- Beets

- Optional: balsamic glaze or honey
Instructions
Section titled “Instructions”- Preheat air fryer to 375°F / 190°C.
- Wash, peel, and slice beets into thin rounds.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Air fry in a single layer for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze or honey if desired.
- Beets stain — use gloves when peeling and a cutting board you don’t mind getting pink.
- If slices are uneven, thinner pieces may crisp up faster — check and remove them early if needed.
- Save the beet greens — they cook like spinach and are great quickly sautéed with a little garlic.
