Summer Harvest Guide

Summer is peak abundance. The farm is in full production and CSA shares are at their most generous. Expect a wide variety of warm-season vegetables each week.

  • Tomatoes — multiple varieties, from cherry to heirloom slicers
  • Zucchini & Summer Squash — prolific producers through the season
  • Cucumbers — great for fresh eating and pickling
  • Peppers — sweet and hot varieties
  • Green Beans — fresh-picked and tender
  • Corn — sweet corn available mid to late summer
  • Basil — fragrant and abundant, pair with tomatoes
  • Summer produce is heat-sensitive — refrigerate promptly after pickup.
  • Tomatoes are the exception: store at room temperature for best flavor.
  • Zucchini grows fast. If yours are large, use them for baking or stuffing.
